Where the Hospital of the Future isn’t a Hospital at all

Leo Montgomery is out shopping with his wife Rosemary when he starts to have trouble breathing. A biosensor he was wearing also sounds the alarm.

Rosemary confers with a nurse from Kaiser Permanente, the couple’s healthcare provider. Leo insists he’s fine, but within minutes a medi-car is dispatched to their location. Inside the driverless vehicle, Leo attaches devices that monitor his blood oxygen and blood pressure. The readings look troubling, so a physician hops on a video conference to discuss Leo’s results. At the doctor’s recommendation, Rosemary helps her husband position additional diagnostic monitors on his chest.
