Vendor Information
The Garfield Center staff does not interact with vendors directly to make decisions regarding product evaluations. Vendors interested in testing items such as information technology, medical equipment or supplies may contact the Kaiser Permanente National Products Council.
Pharmaceutical products are not tested at the center.

Public Transit
San Leandro BART is the closest station to the Garfield Center. We recommend when taking Bart that you schedule a taxi or ride-sharing as there is no shuttle service available.

Before You Visit
Parking
Free Parking is available along the right side of the building and the row along the street. Handicapped parking is located at the front door. Alternate Parking – If above areas are full, you may park to the left of our facility in the lot at 562 Whitney Street. PLEASE DO NOT PARK in reserved spaces in front of 626 Whitney Street.
Electric Vehicle Charging is now available at the Garfield Center! Sign up for an EVgo charging plan for easy access to electric car charging at selected KP locations and at EVgo network chargers around California.

Security
The center is a locked facility. Access is granted by reservation only. KP employees must wear their badges and swipe at the front door to attest their health self-check.
Recommended Clothing
The center is housed in a warehouse style facility. Many areas have large open space with concrete floors. Plan to wear layered clothing for temperature fluctuations and comfortable walking shoes.

To help suppress the spread of COVID-19, please plan to arrive close to your activity time and respect social distancing guidelines. The Garfield Center follows masking guidelines for Alameda County, CA.
